Significant human and financial resources will need to be gathered to meet our target of settling a large number of Syrian refugees here in Cape Breton.
Approximate costs (as set by the federal government and based on local cost of living indexes) for sponsoring a family of four range from $30,000 to $40,000.
On behalf of Lifeline Syria Cape Breton, the New Dawn Community Development Educational Foundation is receiving and receipting donations towards the sponsorship and settlement of Syria refugees in Cape Breton.
